     Hello, and welcome to Wilmer Amina Carter High School (CHS). It is my extreme pleasure to serve as your site Principal. In 2004, I joined the Rialto Unified School District after teaching for four years within the Los Angles Unified School District. Since 2004, I have served the Rialto Community in a plethora of assignments, including 8th Grade History Teacher, High School ASB Director, High School Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal, Middle School Principal, and most importantly my current assignment as the Principal of CHS. As your Principal, I look forward to collaborating with you and all members of the learning community.

    Rialto Unified School District is now offering FREE in-person tutoring at 9 official hub schools located in the North, Central, and South regions of Rialto.   • Parent Institute Family & Community Engagement Events

    Families and Community members are invited to participate in Rialto Unified's Engagement Event's for the 22-23 School Year, hosted by the Curtis T. Winton Parent Institute. Your participation is a vital aspect in the success of these programs and of our students. Please see the attached file for all event information.

  • Step Up - Saturday School

    Students participating in Step Up Saturday School will need to request lunches the Wednesday prior to thier attendance by 3pm. Students are expected to come prepared with assignments and materials needed throughout the day. See attached flyer for more details.

  • Cell Phone / Dress Code Policies

    Rialto Unified School District staff, along with a team of students and parents, have updated the District’s Mobile Communication Device (e.g., cellphone) policy and identified actions to help students develop personal responsibility when using cellphones and/or social media. Furthermore, the student dress code at the Rialto Unified School District should serve to support all students in developing a body-positive self-image. All students are expected to adhere to the RUSD Student Dress and Grooming Policy 5132. Please read this letter outlining the policies for our RUSD Families.

    This year CHS will begin at a later start time in accordance with CA Senate Bill 328. First period will begin at 8:40 AM. Please plan accordingly to ensure that students are at school on time for the start of a successful school day!
